Socializing for Justice (SoJust) is for feminists, people working against racism, queer pioneers, genderbenders, environmental agitators, class activists, lefty artists and all people across Greater Boston working for justice in our neighborhoods, in our nation and beyond. But it's not work! Instead, we're building a strong cross-issue network through fun social events - some large, some small. At SoJust you can hang out with friends, make new ones, find a date, get the scoop on a job, and find out what's going on this weekend - political or social. And the best part is that the SoJust members share your vision of building a more just world.
Join the Socializing for Justice Meetup Board and you'll be able to view and post events, job & volunteer announcements, roommate searches, print & on-line resources - and you'll be able to suggest/co-host future SoJust events.
Do you have an idea for a small activity-based social gathering that you'd like to co-host for SoJust members? SoJust members are planning several smaller social events: Bowling for Justice, Game Night for Justice, Movie Night for Justice.
You are encouraged to post local progressive events on the SoJust bulletin board (see below). Events specifically hosted by SoJust members for SoJust members will be listed as a SoJust event. Event reminders are e-mailed for SoJust events and RSVPs are collected on-line.
Please post events, jobs & volunteer announcements, roommate searches, print & online resources in the appropriate bulletin board folders to make it easier for members to find what they're looking for. Posts not in these folders may be moved to the appropriate folder and outdated posts will be removed periodically. Please suggest new topics as needed.
As Emma Goldman said, "If I can't dance, I don't want to be part of your revolution."
